Susan Boyle on Britains Got Talent
Saw her on Larry King. Watch this video! I am so intrigued by her voice and most of all her spirit. I wish her the best.

And what is up with that creepy way that McSame avoided ever looking at his opponent? How juvenile.
Here is a new article discussing changing attitudes toward gays in Hollywood.
Never before have gay story lines been so prominent. Nor have there ever been so many gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender characters on television — 83 by a recent count from the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, not counting reality shows, daytime dramas or gay-oriented cable networks.
Hollywood, with its depictions of cowboy lovers and lesbian neighbors, has done much to make gay men and women part of mainstream American life.
At the same time, gay actors like Neil Patrick Harris and T. R. Knight play heterosexual characters on TV and in film, while couples — Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi — are covered by celebrity magazines as if they were any old romance.
Sarah Palin interviewed by Katie Couric:
Is it too much to expect that the United States ought always to have presidents who are of at least average intelligence? She is not fit to be one fragile heartbeat away from the Presidency! Even George W. Bush comes across as slightly smarter than this idiot.
Have you noticed that MSNBC has recently added a one-hour news program hosted by openly-lesbian hostess Rachel Maddow? If not, then watch her mock McCain:
She’s fun! (Rachel’s on weeknights at 8pm, 10pm, and 2am) A nice break from the “wrinkly old men and fem bots” seen on the other channels.
Now, if only Anderson Cooper would take courage and come on OUT….
Trivia: Maddow lives in Manhattan and Western Massachusetts with her partner, artist and accountant Susan Mikula. The couple met in 1999, when Mikula hired Maddow, who was then working on her doctoral dissertation, for yard work at her home.
Just in case you have not ever seen a What the Buck video, here’s a taste.
Daniel Radcliffe (hot wizard boy, now grown up) will appear naked on the Broadway stage in Equus later this year.
This brief video blooper is hilarious.

Iran has got a plan how to deal with its homosexuals. Remember when the Iranian President told a Columbia University audience that his country has no homosexuals? He was more nearly right than you knew!
…in Iran, homosexuality is a crime punishable by death. But the government has provided a way out for the nation’s gays and lesbians: a sex-change operation. Fully paid for by the state, the procedure would allow these people to conform to Iran’s theocratic standards of sexuality.
Minneapolis Police Chief Tim Dolan and Mayor R.T. Rybak have given medals and commendations to members of the SWAT team for their bravery in nearly killing an innocent family, whom they mistook for gangsters.
In handing out the medals, The Chief says:
The easy decision would have been to retreat under covering fire. The team did not take the easy way out. This is a perfect example of a situation that could have gone horribly wrong, but did not because of the professionalism with which it was handled.
In ridiculing this madness, Reason magazine says:
This is really beyond outrage. The city of Minneapolis is commending and rewarding its police officers for firing their weapons at innocent people. A family of eight was terrorized, assaulted, and nearly killed, and it’s the “perfect example” of a situation that could have gone wrong?
